Story 4 - The Lazy Gardener
My wife, Anna, loves plants.
She is a terrific gardener.
She takes care of her plants every day.
She waters them.
She puts them in the sun.
She trims them.
There are many flowers on our veranda, too.
My wife takes very good care of the flowers.
They grow very fast.
They are beautiful!
The flowers smell very good.
There are many bees that visit our veranda.
The bees come to drink the sweet juices from the flowers.
I don’t know how to take care of plants very well.
When I take care of the plants and flowers, they die.
I am lazy.
I forget to water them.
I forget to put them in the sun.
I forget about them.
So, I don’t have plants or flowers.
I have two small cactuses.
I take care of them.
It is very easy to take care of cactuses.
I leave them in the sun all day.
I only water them once a month.
They are very happy!
