THE UNDERGROUND HOME
A Casa Subterrânea

The Underground Home is a secret place.
A Casa Subterrânea é um lugar secreto.

No one knows where it is. It is a happy, warm place.
Ninguém sabe onde é. É um lugar feliz e aconchegante.

There is only one room with a big fireplace.
Há apenas uma sala com uma lareira grande.

Tinker Bell has her tiny room too.
Tinker Bell tem seu próprio quarto pequeno também.

Wendy is a perfect mother.
Wendy é uma mãe perfeita.

She cooks and sews for everyone.
Ela cozinha e costura para todos.

She also tells beautiful bedtime stories.
Ela também conta lindas histórias para dormir (histórias de ninar).

The Lost Boys are happy because they finally have a mother.
Os Meninos Perdidos estão felizes porque eles finalmente têm uma mãe.

John and Michael are happy because there is a new adventure every day.
John and Michael estão felizes porque há uma nova aventura a cada dia.

Peter Pan is a perfect father.
Peter Pan é um pai perfeito.

He brings home food and protects the family.
Ele traz para casa comida e protege a família.

Wendy and Peter play with the children and laugh with them.
Wendy e Peter brincam com as crianças e riem com elas.

But one night something happens.
Mas certa noite alguma coisa acontece.

Wendy tells the children this bedtime story:
Wendy conta para as crianças uma história para dormir:

'In the big city of London there are two parents.
‘Na grande cidade de Londres há dois pais.

They are very sad because they cannot find their three children.
Eles estão muito tristes porque eles não conseguem encontrar seus três filhos.

Every night they leave the nursery window open.
Cada noite eles deixam aberta a janela do berçário.

They wait and wait for their children to return.
Eles esperam e esperam por seus filhos voltarem.

But they don't return.
Mas eles não voltam.

Poor parents! They are very sad without their children.'
Coitados os pais! Eles estão muito tristes sem seus filhos.’

'Oh, Wendy, this is the story of our parents,' says John.
‘Oh, Wendy, essa é a história dos nossos pais,’ diz John.

'Yes, it is,' says Michael.
‘Sim, é,’ diz Michael.

Peter listens and says, 'Sometimes parents forget their children and other children take their place.'
Peter escuta e diz, ‘Algumas vezes os pais esquecem os seus filhos e outras crianças tomam o lugar deles.’

Wendy is very surprised.
Wendy está muito surpresa.

'Oh, no!' she says! 'Perhaps there are other children in our beds! John, Michael, we must go home!'
‘Oh, não!’ diz ela! ‘Talvez haja outras crianças nas nossas camas! John, Michael, temos que voltar para casa!’

'Do we really have to?' ask John and Michael.
‘Nós realmente temos que voltar?’ perguntam John e Michael.

'Yes, we've got to return home.'
‘Sim, temos que voltar para casa.’

The Lost Boys are sad and say, 'Oh, Wendy, please don't leave us!'
Os Meninos Perdidos estão tristes e dizem, ‘Oh, Wendy, por favor não nos deixe!’

'Don't be sad. You can come and live with us in London,' says Wendy.
‘Não esteja triste. Você pode vir e morar conosco em Londres,’ diz Wendy.

'Oh, how wonderful!' the Lost Boys say.
‘Oh, que legal!’ dizem os Meninos Perdidos.

'We can have a real family.'
‘Podemos ter uma família de verdade.’

They jump up and down with joy.
Eles pulam para cima e para baixo com alegria.

They dance around the room.
Eles dançam pela sala.

But Peter is not happy.
Mas Peter não está feliz.

He is very serious and says, 'I'm not coming with you to London.
Ele está muito sério e diz, ‘Eu não estou indo com você para Londres.

I don't want to grow up. I want to be a boy forever.'
Eu não quero crescer. Eu quero ser um menino para sempre.’

Everyone says goodbye to Peter.
Todo mundo se despede do Peter.

Outside, the pirates are waiting for them!
De lado de fora, os piratas estão esperando por eles!

The children come out of the underground home and the pirates capture them.
As crianças saem da casa subterrânea e os piratas as capturam.

Then they take them to the Jolly Roger.
Então eles as levam para o Jolly Roger.

They don't make any noise.
Eles não fazem nenhum barulho.

Peter doesn't know where they are.
Peter não sabe onde eles estão.

He is sad without Wendy, John, Michael and the Lost Boys.
Ele está triste sem Wendy, John, Michael e os Meninos Perdidos.

He sits and thinks.
Ele senta e pensa.

'Tap, tap, tap!' There is someone at the door.
‘Tap, tap, tap!’ Tem alguém na porta.

'Who is it?' asks Peter.
‘Quem é?’ pergunta Peter.

He can hear the sound of little bells and opens the door.
Ele pode ouvir o som de sininhos e abre a porta.

Tinker Bell flies in and says, 'The pirates have got Wendy, John, Michael and the Lost Boys!
Tinker Bell entra voando e diz, ‘Os piratas têm Wendy, John, Michael e os Meninos Perdidos!

They are in danger. Let's help them!'
Eles estão em perigo. Vamos ajudá-los!’

'I must save them.
‘Eu tenho que salvá-los.

Come Tink, let's go to the Jolly Roger!

This time I must attack Hook!'
