THE SHADOW
A Sombra
The children are sleeping and dreaming. Suddenly the window opens.
As crianças estão dormindo e sonhando. De repente a janela abre.
A small ball of light enters the nursery and flies around.
Uma pequena bola de luz entra no berçário e voa pelo quarto.
It is a lovely fairy called Tinker Bell.
Ela é uma fada linda chamada Tinker Bell (Sininho).
She is looking for something.
Ela está procurando alguma coisa.
After a moment a young boy enters the nursery and says, 'Tink, where are you? Please find my shadow.'
Depois de um momento um menino entra no berçário e diz, ‘Tink, onde você está? Por favor ache minha sombra.’
Tinker Bell finds his shadow in the drawer and gives it to him.
Tinker Bell acha a sombra dele numa gaveta e a entrega para ele.
'Now I can stick the shadow to my feet with some soap,' he thinks.
‘Agora eu posso colar a sombra nos meus pés com um pouco de sabonete,’ ele pensa.
He tries and tries again, but he can't.
Ele tenta e tenta novamente, mas ele não consegue.
He is very confused and starts crying.
Ele está muito confuso e começa a chorar.
Wendy wakes up and sees the boy, but she is not afraid.
Wendy acorda e vê o menino, mas ela não está com medo.
His clothes are made of leaves.
Suas roupas são feitas de folhas.
'Little boy, why are you crying?' Wendy asks.
‘Menino, por que você está chorando?'
The boy takes off his cap and asks, 'What's your name?'
O menino tira o chapéu e pergunta, ‘Qual é o seu nome?’
'Wendy Moira Angela Darling. What's yours?'
‘Wendy Moira Angela Darling. Qual é o seu?’
'Peter Pan.'
‘Peter Pan.’
'Is that all?'
‘Só isso?’
'Yes!' says Peter. Then he thinks, 'My name is very, very short.'
‘Sim!’ diz Peter. Então ele pensa, ‘Meu nome é muito, muito curto.’
Wendy looks at his shadow and asks, 'Can I help you with your shadow?'
Wendy olha para a sombra dele e pergunta, ‘Posso te ajudar com a sua sombra?’
'Yes, please!' says Peter.
‘Sim, por favor!’ diz Peter.
Wendy gets her sewing basket and sews on Peter's shadow.
Wendy pega a sua cesta de costura e costura a sombra do Peter.
After a few minutes she says, 'Finished! Now you have your shadow again.'
Depois de alguns minutos ela diz, ‘Terminei! Agora você tem a sua sombra de volta novamente.’
Peter looks at the floor and sees his shadow.
Peter olha para o chão e vê a sua sombra.
He is very happy and dances around the room.
Ele está muito feliz e dança pelo quarto.
'Oh, Wendy, you are wonderful!' says Peter.
‘Oh, Wendy, você é maravilhosa!’ diz Peter.
'Do you really think so?' asks Wendy.
‘Você realmente acha?’ perguna Peter.
'Yes,' says Peter.
‘Sim,’ diz Peter.
Wendy smiles and gives Peter a kiss on the cheek.
Wendy sorri e beija Peter na bochecha.
'Oh!' says Peter. 'How nice!'
‘Oh!’ diz Peter. ‘Que legal!’
'How old are you, Peter?' asks Wendy.
‘Quantos anos você tem Peter?’ pergunta Wendy.
'I don't know, but I am young. I don't want to grow up. I always want to be a boy and have fun.'
‘Eu não sei, mas eu sou jovem. Eu não quero crescer. Eu sempre quero ser um menino e me divertir.’
Peter looks around the room for his fairy.
Peter olha pelo quarto por sua fada.
He hears a noise and looks in a drawer.
Ele ouve um barulho e olha numa gaveta.
Tinker Bell flies out.
Tinker Bell sai voando.
Wendy is delighted to see a fairy, but Tinker Bell is afraid.
Wendy está encantada para ver uma fada, mas a Tinker Bell está com medo.
She hides behind the big clock.
Ela se esconde atrás do relógio grande.
'Where do you live, Peter?' asks Wendy.
‘Onde você mora, Peter?’ pergunta Wendy.
'I live in Neverland with the Lost Boys,' says Peter.
‘Eu moro na Terra do Nunca com os Meninos Perdidos,’ diz Peter.
'Neverland? The Lost Boys? Who are they?' asks Wendy.
‘Terra do Nunca? Os Meninos Perdidos? Quem são eles?’ pergunta Wendy.
'The Lost Boys haven't got a mother or father.
‘Os Meninos Perdidos não têm mãe nem pai.
They are alone in the world and they live in Neverland.
Eles estão sozinhos no mundo e eles vivem na Terra do Nunca.
I am their Captain. In Neverland we fight the pirates.
Eu sou o Capitão deles. Na Terra do Nunca lutamos contra piratas.
We also swim in the lagoon with the beautiful mermaids.
Nós também nadamos na lagoa com as sereias lindas.
Fairies live in the trees in the forest.
Fadas vivem nas árvores na floresta.
The fairies are my friends,' says Peter.
Elas são minhas amigas’ diz Peter.
'Oh, what fun!' says Wendy.
‘Oh, que divertido!’ diz Wendy.
'I must go back now.
‘Eu tenho que voltar agora.
I must tell the Lost Boys a story.
Eu tenho que contar uma história para os Meninos Perdidos.
They love stories,' says Peter.
Eles amam histórias,’ diz Peter.
'Don't go away! I know a lot of stories,' says Wendy.
‘Não vá embora! Eu sei muitas histórias,’ diz Wendy.
'Then come with me, Wendy.

You can tell us stories.

We all want a mother. Please come,' says Peter.

'But I can't fly,' says Wendy.

'I can teach you to fly,' says Peter.

'Can you teach John and Michael to fly too?'

'Yes, of course,' says Peter.
‘Sim, claro,’ diz Peter.
'John! Michael! Wake up!
‘John! Michael! Acordem!
This is Peter Pan.
Este é o Peter Pan.
He's from Neverland.
Ele é da Terra do Nunca.
It's a beautiful place,' says Wendy.
É um lugar lindo’, diz Wendy.
John and Michael are very surprised.
John e Michael estão muito surpresos.
'We can go there with him.
‘Podemos ir lá com ele.
But first we must learn to fly,' Wendy says.
Mas primeiro temos que aprender a voar,’ diz Wendy.
Wendy, John and Michael are very excited.
Wendy, John e Michael estão muito animados.
They try to fly but fall on the beds and on the floor.
Eles tentam voar mas caem em cima das camas e no chão.
'No, no,' says Peter.
‘Não, não,’ diz Peter.
'Here is some fairy dust.'
‘Aqui está um pouco de pó de fada.’
He puts some fairy dust on their shoulders.
Ele coloca um pouco de pó de fada nos seus ombros.
'Now try again,' says Peter.
‘Agora, tentem de novo,’ diz Peter.
'Look, I can fly!' says Wendy.
‘Olha, eu sei voar!’ diz Wendy.
‘Olha, eu consigo voar!’ diz Wendy.
'I can too,' says John.
‘Eu sei também,’ diz John.
‘Eu consigo também,’ diz John.
'Me too,' says little Michael.
‘Eu também,’ diz pequeno Michael
'Tink, show us the way to Neverland,' says Peter.
‘Tink, nos mostre o caminho à Terra do Nunca,’ diz Peter.
They follow Tinker Bell and fly out of the nursery window.
Eles seguem a Tinker Bell e voam pela janela do berçário.
In the garden Nana looks at the sky and barks.
No jardim, a Nana olha para o céu e late.
Mr. and Mrs. Darling return from the dinner party.
Sr. e Sra. Darling voltam do jantar festivo.
They go into the nursery, but it is empty!
Eles entram no berçário, mas está vazio!
